SOUPER BOWL OF CARING: Beginning THIS SUNDAY and continuing throughout the month of February, we will collect canned goods to help fund the Lutheran Social Services local food pantry. Lutheran Social Services provides food for over 15,000 people each year.
It’s our annual “Can Off!” The Dayschool will be competing with the congregation of First St. John Church. We have Grocery carts in the back of the church and the JAM room in the basement of the church for collecting donations of canned goods as well. The contest is on—it’s the congregation vs. the Dayschool children vs. all the Sunday School attendees (JAM, catechism, and adult Sunday School!).
While it’s a competition that we’ll update our totals weekly – WE ARE ALL WORKING TOGETHER TOWARDS THE SAME GOAL!
Our goal as a whole is to collect 400 canned goods. TOGETHER we CAN make a difference.
For any questions, please contact Jamie Blazevich at 419-691-7222.
